It offers many hot pools and wilds life. When this national park was built in 1872, the gray wolf populations were in decline in Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. The creation of national park didn’t provide law and protection for wolves and other predators, while government predator program in the 1990s helped eliminate gray wolf of Yellowstone. Actually, the last wolves were killed at 1926 in Yellowstone. After that time, the sporadic reports for wolves still occurred. However, the scientist confirmed that the sustainable wolf population are extirpated and absent from the Yellowstone in the mid 1900s.

In the 1940s, the biologists, park manages, environmentalist, and conservationist began what will turn to a campaign for reintroduce grey wolf to Yellowstone Park. The road for legal reintroduction was finish when Endangered Species Act 1973 was passed. The gray wolves first reintroduced to the Yellowstone in 1995 in Lamar Valley. Now, grey wolves have been back in Yellowstone, and you are allowed to watch Yellowstone wolves when you are visiting this park.

There are some tour packages that include wolf watching. The best time to watch wolves in Yellowstone is in late of autumn. It can be in November 1 to 5. Wolf watching is intrepid outdoor activity that is observation of the wild wolf packs in the Yellowstone by serious professionals alike and casual visitors.
